Welcome to Sunderland Broom Hockey Club! We are a mixed club that welcomes all ages & abilities.
Established in 1891 the club boasts an impressive history. Sunderland Broom hockey club believe hockey is more than just a game; with Sunderland Broom it is a life experience!
The club is based at Ashbrooke Sports Club and operates three mens and a ladies team plus mixed and junior teams. Both the men’s and ladies teams train on Tuesday nights at Raich Carter Sports Centre 7pm-8.15pm and play league matches at weekends.
The juniors receive their coaching every Tuesday evening 6 – 7pm and on Saturday mornings 9.30am to 10.30 am at Raich Carter Sports Centre throughout the year. We are delighted to say that this season we have entered junior teams into league competitions for all age groups.
All training is free for the first 2 sessions so why not come and give it a go!
